Welcome to the website of the research project How Dynamic Changes in Leaf Anatomy affect Photosynthesis. This project is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and aims to improve our understanding of plant responses to a water deficit.

In this project we investigate the effect of rapid changes in water supply on the leaf internal anatomy. We aim to link such changes in leaf anatomy to measured change in the capacity of leaves to assimilate CO₂ from the atmosphere.
